Our story

Built on the Belief That Connectivity Is Healthcare

Connectivity for Good was founded on a simple but radical premise: that a smartphone with reliable data is as essential to health outcomes as a prescription or a clinic visit.

How we started

From a Gap in the System to a National Program

Our founders spent years working inside hospital systems and rural health clinics, watching patients leave appointments with care plans they couldn't follow — not because they lacked motivation, but because they lacked connectivity. Telehealth appointments missed. Medication reminders undelivered. Care coordinators unreachable.

In 2023, we launched a pilot with three rural critical access hospitals in the Midwest. Within 18 months, participating patients showed a 34% reduction in 30-day readmissions. The CarePhones program was born.

"We don't just connect devices. We connect people to the care they've already been promised."

Mission & vision

What Drives Every Decision We Make

Mission

To eliminate connectivity as a barrier to healthcare access for underserved and rural populations across America.

Vision

A future where every patient — regardless of geography, income, or circumstance — can fully participate in their own care.

Health Equity First

Every decision we make is filtered through the lens of who is most left behind by the current system.

Trauma-Informed Practice

We design programs that recognize the lived experiences of the populations we serve — with dignity, not charity.

Evidence Over Assumption

We measure everything. Our partnerships are built on outcomes data, not good intentions alone.

Systems Change

We work within healthcare infrastructure to create durable, scalable change — not one-off interventions.

Our approach

Trauma-Informed by Design

Connectivity for Good integrates trauma-informed care principles into every layer of our program design — from how devices are distributed, to how patient support staff are trained, to how we measure success. We recognize that many of the patients we serve have experienced systemic failures in healthcare. Our role is to rebuild trust, one connection at a time.

1

Safety

Patients control their own devices and data. No surveillance, no conditions.

2

Trustworthiness

We are transparent about what we do, how we do it, and what we measure.

3

Peer Support

Community health workers — not corporate reps — deliver and support our devices.

4

Empowerment

We build digital literacy alongside connectivity, so patients own their health journey.
